Job Description

The HR Coordinator supports the Corporate HR function by managing key employee processes. This includes onboarding and orientation, HR hotline intake, I-9 compliance, unemployment claims, and employee engagement initiatives. The role requires strong organizational & communication skills, confidentiality and discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Onboarding & OrientationCoordinate onboarding logistics for new hires, including scheduling, communication, and documentation.Host weekly salaried orientation sessions and maintain updated orientation materials.Ensure new hires receive and understand the required policies, procedures, and systems access.Interview candidates for entry-level roles within the corporate officeOffboarding - exit interviews - records managementHotline Call ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for HR hotline calls.Log, triage, and assign calls to appropriate HR or legal contacts using internal tracking systems.Track resolution status and escalate issues as needed.I-9 ComplianceManage I-9 documentation for new hires, including scanning and uploading documents to the I-9 management system within 3 business days.Support reverification processes and ensure compliance with USCIS guidelines.Assist field HR with I-9 managementUnemployment ClaimsCoordinate unemployment claim responses through the third-party vendor, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.Maintain documentation and collaborate with legal or vendor contacts as needed.Employee Engagement CommitteeServe as HR liaison to the Employee Engagement Committee.Coordinate meeting logistics, track initiatives, and support communication efforts.Assist in planning and executing engagement activities and recognition programs.Additional DutiesSupport exit interviews and documentation for separating employees.Support tuition reimbursement and relocation tracking.Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.Qualifications:An associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-site environment.Familiarity with Workday, Microsoft Office Suite, including virtual collaboration tools like TeamsA plus would be experience with Equifax I-9 ManagementStrong organizational and communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.WORK ENVIRONMENTOfficeWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to the risk of injury in an office environment.
