The ideal candidate will have at least 6-7+ years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, advanced expertise in G & M code, and a strong mechanical aptitude.This role involves utilizing design sketches and blueprints to ensure products meet precise dimensional and tolerance requirements, adhering to company policies, procedures, and manufacturing quality standards.****Working on CNC lathes and CNC mills; setting up and operating multiple machine tools to precision tolerances from both blueprints and sketchesMaintain accurate process documentationDesign, modify, and/or improvise tooling and gauging as neededRepair machine components and/or hardware per instructionPerform precision machining tasks to the highest quality standardsWork with diverse materials, including stainless hardened steel and exotic metalsConduct inspections using equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, surface plate and associated accessories, bench comparators, profilometers, optical comparators, etc.Execute complex technical assignments, analyzing multiple variables to ensure optimal machining performanceProvide training and mentorship to lower-level technicians, guiding them in skill development, completing tasks, and advanced technical trainingApply problem-solving skills, proactively identifying challenges and recommending solutions
