You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.Position Summary:The Events Administrative Temp will work with the Events & Activations staff under the direction of the Associate Director of Events & Activations, focusing on the National Dinner, HRCs largest fundraising event in the country, as well as Chefs for Equality and other Dinner events across the country. Events Administrative Temp must be extremely proactive, detail oriented, with database experience and demonstrate aptitude to handle a multitude of details simultaneously.This is a six-month in-person hybrid position beginning in May 2025 and ending in November 2025. Position Responsibilities:Participate as an integral part of the Events program, with responsibilities including:Responsible for procurement of items for the Silent Auction, including mailed, in-person and phone solicitation to new and former participating businesses.Data entry into HRCs internal database and auction system with new items from Silent Auction.Ensure auction items that are delivered or picked up are properly logged and stored.Handle all follow-up regarding auction winning bidders, including connecting winners with experience contacts, ensuring delivery of mailed items, etc.Serve as support to the Associate Director of Events & Activations responsible for raffles, including adherence to compliance, procedures and policies.Serve as support staff at the National Dinner and Chefs for Equality events (set-up and during the event) and at other events as needed.Other duties as assigned.Position Qualifications:? One to three years of successful administrative or program support is required.? Exemplary time management skills and the ability to prioritize urgent items.? Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment.? Meticulous attention to detail is required.? Works well in a team and collaborative environment.? Must have a professional and responsible manner.? Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office Apps and Google Drive Suite, with a particular emphasis on spreadsheets. ? Personal interest in and commitment to LGBTQ+ rights is required.All positions at the Human Rights Campaign and/or the Human Rights Campaign Foundation may require travel on a regular basis or periodically.
