APPLY TODAY!POSITION SUMMARY:The Technical Resource Manager manages people and will have demonstrated success at directly leading teams of technical professionals. The Operations Team members reporting to this position who are responsible for technical design services need supervision, development & training, regular feedback, guidance, and work assignments.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:This position provides direction, coordination of work activity, and accountability for timely, qualitative output. This role must effectively collaborate with Project Managers to allocate skills and availability of team members as needed to satisfy customer requirements.Selection, hiring, training and development of assigned direct report team membersPerformance assessment and evaluation including development of metrics and benchmarks to help determine productivity and qualityCoaching and disciplinary action when neededActive collaboration with Project Managers to provide proper staffing levels and skills needed for customer workIn conjunction with People & Administration, provide Compensation management for all team membersSupport all initiatives as determined by ONUG Leader Team and Operations LeadershipPerform other duties as needed to further the company strategySUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Management of ten or more direct reportsParticipation in Operations Leader Team meetingsSupport People & Administration and Leader Team initiatives and strategies to develop, grow and maintain a healthy work cultureMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical area or Business Management. AS or AA in Management. 5+ years of fiber engineering along with management experience beyond minimum requirement will be considering in lieu of 4-year degree.Technical experience in fiber optic design highly desirable and will be given first considerationManagement certification highly desirableProven track record of leading and developing a group of technical professionalsTwo plus (2+) years of recent and relevant Supervisory experience managing teams essential and requiredProven ability at high energy multi-taskingMust possess working knowledge of human resources fundamentals.Demonstrated strong communication skills, excellent computer skills, and superb attention to detailThe above description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
