Our mission is to provide high quality mechanical, electrical and plumbing solutions through service and retro-fit construction; provide continuous education to our employees; lead the industry with innovation and technology.JOB **Responsible to coordinate and oversee job progress and assist with labor allocation of field personnel. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND *í˜ Oversee estimating department. Track success rates and adjust as necessary to maximize profit while maintaining a satisfactory workload.í˜ Negotiate and Prepare / review contracts for projects.í˜ Work with PM's to establish project budgets based on estimation and plan review.í˜ Work with project engineer's to ensure accuracy of work.í˜ Develop continued training for project managers, project engineers, and superintendent.í˜ Monitor on a weekly basis job progress via SamPro and discuss actual progress vs. budget with PM's.í˜ Develop and implement corrective actions for projects suffering profit slip.í˜ Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.í˜ Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.í˜ Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.í˜ Maintain company backlog hours report for proper labor forecasting.í˜ Determine manpower needs and develop dispatch calendar.í˜ Assist PMs with submittals and/or closeout documents as needed.í˜ Facilitate preconstruction review with SCFS sales team and SCFS project team.í˜ Assist superintendents in scheduling projects, forecasting labor requirements, and tracking labor rates.í˜ Oversee warehouse manager and warehouse activities.í˜ Coordinate weekly meetings with Project Managers and superintendent to discuss actual vs. budget job progress and man power needs.í˜ Be responsible for hiring / termination of employees. (In conjunction with HR.)í˜ Perform other duties as assigned.í˜ Develop job performance reports for the President and CFOESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND **** í˜ Financial, and financial reporting experience.í˜ Familiar with general construction, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical standards and codesí˜ Demonstrated experience in personnel managementí˜ Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentis essentialí˜ Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesí˜ Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR ***** í˜ High school diploma or equivalent experience requiredí˜ 10 years experience in the HVAC Mechanical industryí˜ 5 years in a supervisory role within the industry
