Job Description

The Manufacturing Coordinator will be responsible and accountable for coordinating and executing all manufacturing requirements while modeling our company values, mission and vision. Additionally, the Manufacturing Coordinator will lead and engage their direct reports and peers to achieve all assigned manufacturing ***** Safety (no one gets hurt), Quality (free of defect), On-Time Delivery (meet customer delivery dates), Budget (at or below estimated hours) and People (develop & retain "hungry, humble and smart" leaders).DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES FOR MANUFACTURING COORDINATORThrough proactive team engagement and collaboration, the Manufacturing Coordinator will *****Safe work practices, training and support. Zero defect environment with rapid NCR resolution, root cause analysis and corrective actions.Schedule performance from kick-off through shipment. Non-charge and actual to processed hours performance.Development and succession planning for all direct reports.Skills matrix and qualifications for all direct reports. Conformance to engineering specifications and standards.Workplace organization and compliance. Facilities, tools and equipment reliability.Continuous improvement within assigned areas.Administrative functions for all direct reports.SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING COORDINATORSafety - experience in an industrial environment.Quality - experience in material handling, painting, welding, machining & fabrication.OTD - experience in executing project plans to time bound schedules.Budget - experience in executing projects within estimated hours.People - experience in collaboratively leading and engaging direct reports and peers.Computer - experience in basic to advanced applicationsCommunications - effective verbal and written Workplace organization - experience in 6S applicationContinuous improvement - experience implementing lean principles and waste reduction Industrial equipment - experience in operations and usage EDUCATIONAL/PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS FOR MANUFACTURING COORDINATORHigh School Diploma equivalency or post-secondary education (i.e. Certificate, AAS or BS degree).Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and stand or sit for extended periods in an office and/or industrial environment.
