Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic

What You Will **The A&P Technician will work independently on Revvs fleet of King Airs out of FXE (Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport). Position pays up to $45/hr.Initiate parts and material requests required to complete the work assigned.Use current technical data to accomplish all work.Use calibrated tools when required.Maintain all hangar and shop equipment and tools in a serviceable working condition.Maintain compliance with Revv Aviations processes and procedures.Participate in a culture that promotes safety through daily observations, shift briefings, routine audits, monthly safety meetings, training, and documented safety procedures. Be well-versed in procedures for use in the event of aircraft accidents, fires, or other emergencies.Use customer feedback to constantly develop and improve capabilities and processes.Required **2-5 years of General Aviation experience (King Air experience preferred)Valid A&P LicenseKnowledge of FAA RegulationsAbility to perform job-related tasks with a safety-first approachMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks experienceAbility to work independentlyAbility to maintain a flexible schedule based on business needsPhysical ****Must be able to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces.Must be able to perform work on scaffolding or ladders.Must be able to lift and pull objects weighing up to 70 pounds at a time.Manual dexterity and physical strength are necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.Must be able to hear well enough to test sounds and identify the functioning level of aircraft.Ability to work in confined spaces.Work EnvironmentThe employee will work outside, inside aircraft hangars, and occasionally inside and around office buildings. Employee will experience various degrees of aircraft noise and weather conditions.
