This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the automotive industry and possesses a strong background in payroll administration. You will be responsible for managing the payroll process for our multi-state operations, ensuring that our hardworking employees are compensated accurately and promptly. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of compensation strategies and policies. Administer multi-state payroll operations, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time.2. Manage all aspects of payroll processing, including data entry, verification, and record-keeping.3. Work closely with Human Resources to ensure accurate compensation and benefits administration.4. Assist in the development and implementation of compensation strategies and policies.5. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.6. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.7. Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.8. Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing, ensuring that systems are functioning properly and efficiently.9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline payroll processes and enhance system efficiencies.Qualifications:1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.2. Proficient in multi-state payroll operations and compensation.3. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.4. Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle payroll-related inquiries and issues effectively.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.7. Proficient in using payroll software and systems.8. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.9. Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
