Packaging Operator II - DPI ResponsibilitiescGMP/Documentation: Perform all functions according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Accurate and legibly document in Standard Operating Instruction (SOI) and Logbook.Determine when to stop a line related to safety or quality.Operate automatic packaging equipment.Document packaging activities.Feed filling equipment.Palletize finished products.Perform line cleaning.Segregate waste products and materials.Return unused material/product.Participate in safety related programs and or safety teams as needed.Reconcile product bulk, material, packaging, and printed materials.Follow safety regulations and ensure the working area is clean.Adhere to companies Safety, Health, and Environmental policies.RequirementsSix (6) months Packaging Operator experience in an automated work environment preferred.High School Diploma (or equivalent experience).Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Packaging Area Standard Operating Procedures and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulationsAbility to communicate effectively and clearly, both written and verbally in English.Comply with safety and quality regulatory standards when packaging products. Ensure products are packaged in accordance with packaging time standards.Flexible and Adaptable: Copes with ambiguity, change and uncertainty effectively. Not hesitant to resolve lack of clarity, structure or definition of outcomes then moves ahead.Demonstrates initiative, sense of urgency and bias for action.
