As the Head of Quality, you will build and manage best-in-class Quality and Food Safety (QFS) systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and third-party partners, to deliver safe, high-quality products that meet regulatory, customer, and certification standards.If you enjoy leading audits, training teams, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement within a complex, multi-layered relationship-led business, Please Apply!**Directly influence the success of the quality culture and product excellenceLeverage scientific, regulatory & technical expertise to drive QFS governance and complianceConduct regular audits and inspections of industrial plants and distribution centers to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulationsAnalyze quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and supply chain, to drive quality improvements and ensure seamless operationsStay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance and incorporate relevant practices into the organizationLead initiatives to achieve and maintain certifications and accreditations related to quality standardsDevelop training programs and workshops to educate staff on quality standards and best practices**Bachelors degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field8+ years of QFS leadership experience in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industryHigh level of proficiency and engagement in regulatory, compliance, and food safety topicsExperience developing, implementing, and sustaining company-wide metrics, KPIs and reporting tools and cycles to track and drive organizational improvement in complianceA proven track record of collaborating with regulatory agencies and internal/external stakeholders to resolve issues and strengthen complianceCurrent HACCP and/or FSMA PCQI certifications20% travel across the USThis onsite opportunity in the Boulder area offers a base salary of up to $200k + bonus and a full benefits package.
