Pay: $22.00/hour *no benefits during the temporary period, but once hired, a full benefits package including 100% Medical and Dental insurance, 401k with a match, PTO, and Paid Holidays is availableOverview: Our client, with offices based just south of Downtown Denver, is a leader in the production of proteins and other scientific substances used in the biomedical/biosciences industry, primarily for medical research. They manufacture and fulfill orders from scientists and international medical research facilities and package and ship products worldwide daily. The Denver facility operates with 10-15 employees and is a great company to work for if you enjoy the world of science! They are seeking a Temp-to-Hire Assembly Technician that reports to the Assembly Supervisor and Assembly Manager. The main objectives are labeling and packaging components and finished goods. This role requires a high level of attention to detail in order to be successful.Schedule: Monday - Friday 6-8 hours/day ideal shift starts at 7:30 AM (30-40 hours/week)Duties:Performs the assembly and subassembly of products under the direction of a supervisorLabels, packages, and stores CPTs and FGs in the appropriate storage areasFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complete accurate documentationRegular cleaning of laboratory glassware, stocking of general laboratory consumables, and assistance with product sealing, when applicableEnsure that CPTs and FGs are stored correctly and in an alphanumerical orderAbility to accurately count products to maintain appropriate inventory levelsExamine CPTs and FGs in assembly processes to ensure product specifications are metPerform reworking of products in the case of document revisions, damaged products, or changes to productsContribute towards identifying improvements in Assembly SOPs for continual process improvementOther related duties may be assigned as requiredRequirements:High-school Diploma or greater educational experienceDetail-oriented, organized, with strong communication skills1 years + in a role that requires strong attention to detail, preferably in a process manufacturing environmentPrior knowledge of production and assembly processesAbility to communicate with others and be open to constructive feedback on improvementsJ.
