They will incorporate feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, testing, supply chain, reliability, industrial design, and simulations to enhance designs.Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:Designs, develops, and implements technical solutions for complex projectsParticipates in project planning and schedulingDesigns and tests GPU and CPU-based computer systems, circuit boards, and storage mediaDesigns high-speed data signal circuitry incorporating Gigabit Ethernet networking switches with PAM4 SERDES coresTakes responsibility for non-technical aspects of engineering projects (schedule, budget, and documentation release)Reviews and interprets customer specifications, analyzes trade-offs in complex systems, and recommends solutionsLeads the deployment of strategic technologies/programs and coordinates global deployment effortsDesigns, modifies, and implements systems that meet customer and Companys needs, including creating schematics, bills of materials, diagrams, and drawingsLiaises with suppliers, customers, contractors, and internal teams, effectively managing relationships with key vendors/partnersExperience with designing rack-based networking switches is highly desirableKnowledge/Skills/Competencies"‹Experience with high-speed serial data protocols such as SPI, I2C, and USB is requiredMust be familiar with designing with optical transceivers, including SFP, OSFP, and QFSP. Familiarity with NRZ modulation is desiredComprehensive knowledge and industry recognition, with a proven ability to provide technical leadership and direction to a global team of engineersUp-to-date knowledge of relevant industry trends and regulations regarding AI, machine learning, and accelerated compute platformsExperience in rack design for accelerated compute platformsKnowledge of Broadcom chips and their application cases is a strong plusExperience in hardware design and development, with a deep understanding of complex concepts related to architecture, design engineering, reliability, prototyping, and failure analysisStrong organizational, planning, and program management skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standardsExcellent multitasking and problem-solving skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsInternational cultural awareness and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a global teamPhysical DemandsDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
