Hours are 9:00am - 6:00pm with slight variation with client assignment$20-22/per hourThe Board Repair Technician works on all specified boards in their group or those that are assigned by the Board Repair Supervisor. The Board Repair Technician must maintain a high level of production while also adhering to Hytecs' stringent Quality Guidelines.ResponsibilitiesRepair of all assigned circuit boards.Repairs circuit boards properly and completely, observing Hytec standards of quality, so as to prevent warranty returns and call backs.Maintain a high level of productivity (Approx. average 1 BPH or higher) without compromising Hytecs' quality standards.Regularly update, verify and use in-house manuals and/or CBRA documentation during the repair process. ***** This technical documentation is a work in process and must be maintained on an ongoing basis.Maintain test bed machines within their assigned level, repairing any observed deficiencies. Reporting necessary preventative maintenance to the supervisor of the group. Properly identify and tag any machines in need of service.Complete all paperwork and/or electronic reporting concerning the circuit boards, as well as the status of the machines. Place a signed and dated copy, produced by the machine, after all Hytec boards have been reinstalled.The technician is welcomed and encouraged to present new ideas, which could be implemented at Hytec to reduce costs, increase productivity, or improve the overall quality of our products. The tech may be required to work on machines outside of their assigned machine group.Reports any unrepairable boards to the Senior Tech or Supervisor. Boards are then placed on the unrepairable cart to be inspected by a manager.Technician is expected to maintain a neat and orderly work area. Employee must adhere to Hytecs' ESD awareness guidelines.RequirementsTwo year Technical degree in electronics technology or an equivalent vocational electronics program.Minimum one year hands on component level troubleshooting, including component testing, diagnosis and replacement. Familiarity with digital electronic theory, and fundamentals of microprocessors, and their applications.Good mathematical skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to work overtime as needed, this may include weekends
