Based in Austin, TX, we take pride in every detail of our product"”from the powertrain to the packaging.As we scale our operations and prepare for exciting new product launches, we're seeking a Bike Mechanical Engineer & Logistics Coordinator to join our core team. This hybrid role blends hands-on mechanical work with the oversight of warehouse and logistics operations.Position Overview:TheBike Mechanical Engineer & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for making sure our bikes are built right, ride smooth, and get to our customers and partners on time. You'll handle hands-on mechanical work, organize the warehouse, manage inventory, and coordinate shipments.You'll also work directly with some of our retail partners and bike shops"”helping fulfill their orders, process service requests, and keep them stocked with parts or refurbished units. Part of your role will include breathing new life into used or demo bikes, making sure they're fully inspected, repaired, and ready for resale or replacement.This role is perfect for someone who's confident with a wrench, keeps things organized, and enjoys being part of a growing brand that values quality, speed, and customer experience.Key Responsibilities:Mechanical Engineering & AssemblyAssemble and fine-tune e-bikes and mechanical components to high-quality standards.Diagnose and repair bike systems including drivetrain, electronics, suspension, and braking systems.Support engineering feedback loops by identifying product or component-level issues.Assist with prototyping or testing when needed by the R&D team.Warehouse & Logistics ManagementManage incoming shipments, inventory checks, and proper part labeling.Coordinate outbound shipping of bikes and parts, ensuring packaging meets safety and brand standards.Optimize layout and storage strategies within the warehouse for efficiency and safety.Maintain parts inventory, reorder supplies, and support logistics planning for batch builds.Cross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate closely with the customer support team to fulfill service claims or part replacements.Provide operational feedback for continuous improvement in logistics and technical workflows.Help implement new systems or tools for tracking, reporting, and process automation.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in bike mechanics, warehouse logistics, or a hybrid operations role.Deep mechanical knowledge of bikes or light electric vehicles (e-bikes, e-motos preferred).Experience using tools like Shopify, ShipStation, or other logistics/fulfillment platforms is a plus.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in both mechanical work and logistics.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a warehouse/shop environment.Forklift certification required. Schedule & Working Hours:Tuesday through SaturdayTypical hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CSTOccasional flexibility may be required for shipments, events, or product testing.What We Offer:Competitive salary ($70,000 USD)Opportunity to work at the forefront of electric mobility innovation.Tight-knit and fast-paced team with real impact on product and process.Discounts on bikes and gear.Career growth opportunities in engineering, operations, or R&D.
