Were passionate about being involved and contributing to the success and progress of each of our GIG Communities.We pursue these passions because ALLO leaders have created a workplace where folks are valued, ideas are heard, and leaders and teammates show up for each other at work and in life.The Sales Engineer role is a technical position within the sales team, tasked with assisting account executives by developing solutions and providing support to potential clients.RESPONSIBILITIES:Update and manage the sales engineering-specific job flows in the CRM or any future workflow applications.Communicate with prospective and existing SMB customers directly and through Account Executives to understand current network environment, business, and technical requirements.Design solutions for customer applications, including preparation of network topologies and technical specifications.Provide input on post-sale documentation and support to installation and project management personnel, as needed, to clarify service expectations; including providing diagrams, written documentation and verbal explanation as required.Manage and update existing project tables coordinated with the sales engineering team.Acts as a liaison between customers, sales teams and the ALLO Communications team.Maintain knowledge of industry and emerging technology within the telecommunications industry.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.Effectively represent ALLO Communications to customers and at field events like conferences and seminars.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in business or marketing or equivalent work/military experienceAdditional professional qualifications will be an advantageTelecommunications or related fieldEXPERIENCE:Relevant work experience with telecommunication services and data networksRelevant work experience involving sales or customer serviceSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:Knowledgeable in telecom technologies and topologiesAble to create customer-ready network drawingsAble to create DLRs relevant to changes inside of a networkKnowledgeable in complex phone routing and understanding of how it worksAble to work well with other technically adept individualsAble to work with a sales manager to set sales goalsProficiency in eliminating sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approachesAble to learn and adapt to new technologiesStrong technical skills involving computers and networking equipmentStrong analytical abilities as well as persuasion/negotiation skillsAbility to convey complex information in a simplified mannerAbility to work comfortably with a sales team in daily tasks and pending salesAdept in creating and presenting sales-based presentationsSelf-motivated with experience in sales and knowledge of technologyAble to complete documentation accuratelyStrong organizational skillsREQUIREMENTS:Ability to convey complex information in a simplified mannerPossess/Maintain a valid Driver's License Travel requirement: 25%People are our passion.
