WonderWorks is an indoor amusement park that combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.WonderWorksPigeon Forge is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team!As the HR Coordinator at our upside-down theme park, youll cultivate a vibrant workplace where every team member thrives. From streamlining recruitment processes to ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of growth and inclusion, youll play a pivotal role in making our workforce as WONDERful as our attractions!**Prepares, completes, and processes all tasks and paperwork required in the recruiting and onboarding processProcess and maintain all employee records for new hires, employee transfers, changes in employment status, terminations, benefits enrollment, changes in compensation, disciplinary action, performance evaluations, leave requests, PTO, etc.Conducts new hire orientation ensuring all safety, training, and policies are read, understood, and acknowledged Handles investigations, complaints, terminations, workers compensation claims, unemployment claims, leaves, etc.Processes weekly payroll, reviewing time sheets, entering reported tips and commissions while ensuring all status changes, benefits enrollment, and/or compensation changes are up to date and accurately reflected in the pay periodLead and execute employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive company ** gather feedback from employees, implement employee recognition programs, organize employee events, coordinate training programs to support professional development, etc.Performs other duties as assigned***** Strong computer and Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)Ability to comprehend written and verbal communicationAbility to work any shift including weekends, holidays, and weather conditions Ability to multi-task, work independently, and make reasonable & ethical decisions Experience working with HRIS systems1+ year of experience working in the Human Resources fieldBachelor's degree in human resources management or business management or HR Certification preferredAbility to stand, sit and walk throughout the work area for prolonged periods Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds WonderWorks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
