Learn more at .POSITION SUMMARYThe Assistant Property Manager (TEMP) is responsible for supporting day to day on-site operations of affordable housing apartment buildings under the Archway Housing & Services, Inc. Contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing day-to-day execution of property-level operational tasks. This position is responsible for quality services to the residents and efficient operation of the buildings physically, economically, and socially. The focus of this role will be primarily resident-facing and administrative areas with an increasing responsibility of compliance-related documentation. This temporary position is expected to last approximately 60 days.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCompliance Supportâ— Assist in collecting and reviewing income and asset documentation for certifications and recertificationsâ— Help prepare TICs for review and filingâ— Follow up with residents for missing documents or signaturesâ— Maintain resident records according to applicable compliance regulations and Archway standardsLeasing and Resident Servicesâ— Provide exceptional customer service to our resident populationâ— Conduct tours and assist with processing applicationsâ— Handle phone inquiries, emails, and walk-in trafficâ— Support move-ins and move-outs with proper documentation and operate the property within established budgetRent Collection & Administrative Dutiesâ— Post rents, track delinquencies, and issue noticesâ— Manage files, data entry, and office organizationâ— Collaborate with Accounting and Finance on monthly Financial ReviewsMaintenance Coordinationâ— Log and track service requestsâ— Communicate with vendors or maintenance staff on smaller repairs or unit turnsQUALIFICATIONSA. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Training in property or real estate management aplus.B. Experience:â— One or more years of managerial or administrative experience, professional training may substitute for experience. Previous property management experience is a plus.â— Knowledge of Project Based Section 8, LIHTC, and/or other affordable housing programsâ— Knowledge of Fair Housing lawsâ— Experience with ResMan or similar property management software program a plusâ— Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervisionC.
