To learn more, please visit: Provide support to the department using clerical skills to assist Account Managers and Executives to service clients with expertise in the field of Professional Liability and Property and Casualty and a quality of service that maintains a long-term relationship both internally and externally. Communicate and interact with customers, supplier, visitors, staff and others responding clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in personal and to verbal or written instructions. This is a full-time position offering the flexibility of a hybrid or in-office work schedule, available from any of the following office locations: Albany, Amherst, Kingston, Rochester, Pittsford, and Fishkill in New York, or Danbury in Connecticut.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide support to the department through the scanning of customer policies and other documents as neededPerform various clerical and administrative tasks to support the departmentOperate a variety of standard office machines, including personal computer with a variety of software, phone, fax, calculator, and shredding, photocopy, and mail machinesEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general publicAssist with special projects as assigned by management Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: Good written and verbal communication skillsAbility to successfully interact with a variety of peopleWorking knowledge of the insurance industry is desiredKnowledge using Applied, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and WordAttention to detailsWillingness and flexibility to adjust to and conform with varying schedulesAble to coordinate resources and responsibilitiesMay be required to work overtime as necessary Education and/or Experience: High School graduate or general education degree (GED), college preferredCertificates, Licenses, Registration: P&C License desiredWhat We Offer: Were proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, exclusive discount programs, health & wellness programs, and more. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.NFP and You...
