Grant Writer (Temporary Contract - Hybrid)📍Oakland, CA | 🕒Full-Time, 6-Month Assignment (Potential to Extend)💼Nonprofit / Community Health | Hybrid Schedule💰$40-50 per hourWe're partnering with a mission-driven community health organization to identify a Grant Writer for a full-time, 6-month temporary assignment, with the potential to extend. This role offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to health equity by supporting capital campaigns and public/private funding strategies that help expand vital programs for underserved populations.The ideal candidate brings strong grant writing skills, understands funding landscapes in health and human services, and can manage complex proposals and reporting timelines with minimal supervision.Key **Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to government agencies, foundations, and corporations.Coordinate internal project management for capital campaign initiatives and general funding proposals.Collaborate cross-functionally with program, leadership, and finance teams to gather necessary data and draft budgets.Track proposal progress, deadlines, and reporting requirements.Stay current on public health policy and funding trends related to community health, behavioral health, and social services.Support organizational readiness for new funding opportunities through compliance tracking and performance monitoring.Bachelor's Degree required.Minimum 3 years of grant writing experience in the nonprofit or public health sector.Demonstrated success securing federal, state, and foundation grants.Strong writing, editing, and project management skills.Experience working in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams.CPR/BLS certification (can be completed after hire); must provide TB, COVID, and flu vaccination records.Additional ***Hybrid role based in Oakland, with occasional travel for meetings or site visits.This is a temporary position scheduled to begin June 30th and run through January 2026, with potential extension.Confidential employer; details shared upon screening.At MatchBukh Talent Solutions, we match mission-driven healthcare talent with equally mission-driven organizations.
