Yellow Factory USA is a new and fast-growing millwork shop based in Maspeth, NY. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Sander to join our team full-time. This role requires experience using industrial sanding equipment to prep wood and other materials for high-end finishes.If youre dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced with sanding in a production environment, we want to hear from you. Health insurance is offered after a 90-day probationary period.ResponsibilitiesSmooth surfaces of wood and millwork components using industrial sanding machines and hand tools.Prepare materials for finishing by removing imperfections and ensuring a uniform surface.Inspect and feel surfaces to confirm smoothness and readiness for finishing.Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project timelines and quality standards.RequirementsExperience using industrial sanders (preferably experience with Homag OPTIMAT SWT335/QCH and/or Roba Tech 1300/2) and related machinery.Skilled with hand tools and sanding equipment.Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.Strong work ethic and reliability.Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work.Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.** Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Maspeth, NY*** Health insurance eligibility after 90-day probationary periodBe part of a growing team dedicated to craftsmanship and precision.To apply, please send your resume to info_us@ and a brief description of your experience.
