SummaryInspects, repairs, maintains and services Flight School aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations.Essential FunctionsTroubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft systems and equipment, airframes and power plants in accordance with Specifications set forth by the manufacturer and the Service Manuals, Service Bulletins, FAA RegulationsPerform scheduled inspections including 100 hour and annual inspections (if authorized)Perform maintenance and repair associated with inspectionsPerform major and minor repairs and alterations as part of line maintenance, heavy maintenance and structural repairMaintain and repair equipment used in the departmentPerform other incidental duties as may be assignedKnowledge / *****Verifiable, hands-on experience of the actual time spent in the repair, maintenance, overhaul or manufacture of aircraft requiredAbility to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days-offDemonstrates good judgment and confidentialityExceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer serviceExcellent time management, follow-through and organizational skillsStrong communication and ability to build relationships with all levels of management and pilotsStrategic and forward-thinkerAbility to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracyIntermediate to advanced computer skills in Word, Excel and OutlookStrong knowledge of flight software (Talon)QualificationsEducation and Work ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree preferred3 years of experience working with general aviation aircraft or similar (Cessna 152, Cessna 172, Cessna 208, Piper Seminole, and Piper Arrow)Certificates, License, RegistrationsFAA Airframe and Powerplant License
