Tech Painting Company, Inc.Lead Carpenter & SupervisorTech Painting's Lead Carpenter & Supervisor applies advanced knowledge of painting techniques to prepare and finish surfaces with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities include surface preparation (cleaning, patching, sanding, priming), color matching, and applying paint, stains, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Experienced painters interpret blueprints or instructions, select appropriate materials, ensure proper site protection, and deliver high-quality, durable finishes. They are skilled at working on various surfaces including wood, drywall, concrete, and metal, and are knowledgeable in both interior and exterior applications. Safety compliance, attention to detail, and the ability to complete projects independently or lead a team are essential. In addition, they lead crews of 2-10 to oversee the work. They focus in supervision, customer services, communication, problem solving, job organization, profitability, and expert trade knowledge.**Lead Crews on painting projects.Enter timecards.Communicate via email with Operations managers and/or customers.Develops painters skills, models company culture, and maintains a safe work environment.Is a resource for other supervisors.Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, priming, etc.Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment or others.Read blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine painting requirements.Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and textures.Erect scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment as needed to access high areas safely.Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths or masking tape to prevent paint splatter.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.Comply with safety procedures and regulations at all times.Inspect finished work for quality and touch up as necessary.Proven experience as a professional painter (typically 3-5+ years).Strong knowledge of painting materials, tools, and techniques.Ability to work as part of a team.Physical stamina and dexterity; able to stand, climb, and lift for extended periods.Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.Ability to travel within the mid-Atlantic region as neededValid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record and background checkLegal to work in the United StatesOSHA CertificationLift Certification Job * Full-time in-person position****401(k)Health, Dental, Vision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid time offHoliday Pay
