Electrical Designer - MEP Engineering (Baltimore, MD)***** Baltimore, MD | ***** Full-Time | ***** MEP Engineering/ArchitectureSalary ** $100,000-$150,000, commensurate with experienceAbout the *My client is seeking a skilled and self-driven Electrical Designer to join their growing team in Baltimore. This individual will play a key role in developing coordinated design plans and construction documents for electrical systems in complex building projects, working under the guidance of a licensed Electrical Engineer.Key *Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, communications, fire alarm, electronic security, and low-voltage controls.Perform detailed electrical calculations such as load analysis, voltage drop, and wire/conduit sizing.Create panel board schedules, lighting layouts, and control strategies using industry-standard software.Attend and contribute to design and coordination meetings.Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, and riser diagrams.Review construction submittals, respond to RFIs, and support field surveys.Mentor junior designers and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.Maintain project deadlines and quality standards across multiple assignments.Preferred *Bachelors degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering or equivalent.5-10 years of relevant MEP design experience.Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Visual Lighting, and ETAP/SKM.FE/EIT certification (or intent to obtain within 2 years).Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.Ideal ****The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality electrical designs for diverse and impactful projects.
