Assistant Project Manager

San Francisco, CA** We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our electrical construction projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality commercial and institutional electrical projects.Key *Support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projectsAssist with RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, and project documentationTrack project schedules, budgets, and labor resources in collaboration with field teamsHelp manage subcontractor and vendor communicationsMaintain and organize project files, logs, and documentation using Procore or similar platformsAttend coordination and OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings as neededEnsure compliance with safety standards, QA/QC procedures, and project specifications*2-4 years of experience in electrical or general contracting (internship or field experience a plus)Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferredStrong organizational and time-management skillsFamiliar with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)Effective communicator with both office and field personnelPreferred **Exposure to commercial, healthcare, or public works projectsUnderstanding of NEC and San Francisco building codesAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
