One of the largest privately owned Auto Dealership Groups in the country seeks an experienced COMMERCIALINTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT MANAGER. This position is tailored to an experienced (minimum 5 years)Commercial Interior Designer seeking a long-term, fast paced, hands on opportunity. Responsibilities will includedesign development, materials specifications, interiors coordination of construction drawings, site visits,procurements of furniture, fixtures, graphics, signage, etc. and systems coordination, install verification & punch of allcomponents. Ideal candidate has experience reviewing construction documents and experience with detailedcoordination of associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. A background in FF&I purchasing isessential including RFP's, proposal qualifications, orders and invoicing. Excellent interpersonal skills are required,this position reports directly to the construction director and interacts with all levels of management as well as outsideconsultants and manufacturers. This is a fast-paced collaborative team environment which requires self motivationand management as well as a person that navigate an ever changing environment.COVID-19 ***** This is an onsite position.Critical Skills / Experience/*****ï‚· Accomplished in AutoCAD, ability to prepare concept design, space planning, furnishing layout, etc.ï‚· Specification of Commercial Finishes, Furniture Case Goods and Systems Furniture such as Steelcase, AIS,Teknion, Knoll experience preferred.ï‚· Automotive or Retail Design experience is preferredï‚· Self-motivated, flexible, and able to handle conflicting and changing information in a fast-paced collaborativeteam environmentï‚· Independent decision making, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skillsï‚· Ability to coordinate numerous projects simultaneously, think strategically and executeï‚· Must possess superior verbal and written communication skillsï‚· Ability to demonstrate good judgment and effectively prioritizeï‚· Must be detail-orientedï‚· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, knowledge of Bluebeam is a plusï‚· Must demonstrate a professional appearance and work ethicï‚· Ability to travel as needed ~ amount of travel will fluctuate depending on projectsMinimum training and experienceï‚· 5+ years of experience in all areas of responsibility listed above is preferredï‚· Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited university required.Equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.We offer competitive salary, excellent benefits including 401(k) with Company match, as well as vacation andpaid holidays.Please forward your resume, work samples and salary requirements for consideration
