This is a critical founding role that will help shape our go-to-market strategy and directly impact our growth trajectory.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the technical accounting expert in sales conversations, translating complex financial concepts into clear value propositionsDemo the Campfire product and answer technical questions during the demo discussionsConduct compelling product demonstrations tailored to prospects specific accounting needsIdentify clients pain points and collaborate with the product team to develop solutionsBuild relationships with accounting professionals and financial decision-makersProvide insights from customer interactions to help refine our product roadmapContribute to developing sales strategies, pricing models, and marketing materialsQualificationsProfessional in-house accounting experience (CPA preferred but not required)Strong understanding of accounting principles, workflows, and common pain pointsDemonstrated ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-technical audiencesExperience with accounting software or financial technology (prior solution consulting experience is a plus)Excellent communication skills and a consultative sales approachEntrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build something from the ground upSelf-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environmentWhy Join Campfire?Were growing super fast, you will have a high impact in shaping the future of accounting, were backed by Tier 1 investors such as Y Combinator and Foundation Capital.
