Our commitment to a seamless clientexperience"”from initial consultation to final installation"”sets us apart.We recently expanded our production space into a factory in Port Jervis, NY, and we areseeking a Production Manager to join our team.About the RoleThe ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented, with strong organizationaland communication skills. While prior experience in production management is a plus, we arelooking for someone who is excited to take ownership of this role and contribute to ourcompany's continued success. The Production Manager will report directly to the Owner andoversee all aspects of production.Key **● Ensure production timelines are met and optimize workflow efficiency.● Oversee the entire production process, ensuring quality and consistency in all products.● Manage and lead the production team, including scheduling, HR coordination (with theExecutive team), and team development.● Generate and prioritize production work based on demand.● Maintain vendor relationships, both domestic and international, and source new parts asnecessary.● Track inventory and handle purchasing of supplies and parts.● Conduct quality control checks on incoming merchandise and finished products.● Ensure that all orders are accurately fulfilled and meet Shakuff's high quality standards.● Manage the production space and ensure an organized, safe, and efficient workenvironment.● Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering teams to meetbusiness needs.● Oversee special projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution.● Identify and address operational challenges, implementing innovative solutions forcontinuous improvement.● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.● 3+ years of experience in production management or related role.● Strong organizational and leadership skills.● Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.● Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.● Basic understanding of electrical systems and lighting fixtures preferred.● Familiarity with modern technology and computer systems.● Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.● Punctuality and reliability are essential.Schedule & **● *â—‹ Monday - ** 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)â—‹ ***** 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM● ***** Competitive, paid every other Friday.● Additional benefits may be discussed during the interview process.If you are passionate about production management and excited to be a part of an innovativeand creative team, we would love to hear from you!
