SummaryThe Risk and Safety Manager oversees organizational risk and safety programs, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and internal policies. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, promoting a safe working environment, and protecting the organizations assets, employees, and reputation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Risk **o Identify potential risks related to operations, property, fleet, and personnel.o Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.o Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.o Manage insurance claims related to property damage and auto accidents.2. Quality Controlo Establish and maintain quality standards for sprinkler installations.o Develop and oversee quality assurance processes.o Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all job sites meet design specifications and safety standards.o Address and resolve quality-related issues.3. Safety *o Work with third-party safety consultant to train employees and improve overall jobsite safety.o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT).o Develop and enforce company safety policies and procedures.o Conduct safety training programs for employees.o Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.4. Regulatory *o Maintain knowledge of industry-specific laws and regulations.o Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies.o Collaborate with legal and HR departments on risk-related matters.5. Incident and Claim *o Manage property and auto claims, including documentation and communication with insurance providers.o Track incidents and claims to identify trends and implement prevention strategies.6. Employee *o Foster a culture of safety and risk awareness across the organization.o Provide guidance to management on risk and safety best practices.7. Reporting and **o Develop and present regular reports on safety and risk metrics.o Analyze data to identify patterns and recommend improvements.Education and/or Experience5+ years safety and risk management, related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer SkillsMicrosoft Office, Word and Excel.Physical DemandsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
