A brief summary of the qualifications needed for this position are as *****A bachelors degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent trade experienceExperience in utilizing Accubid electrical estimating softwareExperience in managing design/build and conceptual estimating from bridging documents through SD, DD, and CDAbility to lead projects and project teams with minimal supervision, with project values ranging from less than $1 million to more than $20 millionManage all financial aspects of the project, including billings, invoice review, cost projections, budget updating, change order negotiations, etc.Experience in acquiring information from architects/engineers necessary to create the conceptual estimateProficiency in developing project budget, schedule of values, and internal productivity tracking documentsProficiency in issuing vendor purchase orders and subcontracts, and managing them from the submittal phase through project execution and closeoutAbility to create and manage all project tracking logs (RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.)Ability to provide mentorship and training to project engineers to ensure growth and developmentWillingness to work as a collaborative project management team memberExperience in estimating and managing healthcare, laboratory, higher education, and K-12 projectsBasic understanding of BIM, 3-D coordination, and MEP, structural, and architectural systemsMust have the ability to verify BOMs from vendors and subcontractors for accuracyUnderstanding of and experience with Lean Construction and Integrated Project Delivery concepts is a plusWe offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, and the ability to participate in our company 401k retirement program. Our office is located in Dublin, CA, conveniently accessible to the greater Bay Area. The compensation for this position is $160,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience.
