Senior Estimator

SENIOR ESTIMATOR - IN OFFICE ONLYWe have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Estimator for the Los Angeles area. This individual will be responsible for reviewing the details of the plans, preparing the estimates, supporting the project manager and the vendors.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCost estimating, continued data analysis and make recommendationsAbility to provide technical direction as requiredPrepare cost scheduleExperience preparing cost and schedule product for the proposals or contract negotiationsPerform and review methodology for quantity takeoff from design drawingsProvide detailed pricing for labor rates and other direct costs to include basis and assumption documentation denoting rationale, inclusions and exclusionsKnowledge and ability to develop analysis for project cash models and the time value of money as the cost of working capital correlating scheduled activities and costsSupport training as neededExcellent verbal and written communication skillsQualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Science Engineering or equivalent experienceOne or more certifications ***** CPE, CCT, CEP, PSP, EVP, PMI-SP CCM, PRMP, PE 10 years or more experience as a construction estimator with significant experience on highway and bridge projectsAdvance knowledge of construction estimating concepts, construction schedulingHeavy civil and utilities experience a plus and working with large projects $100M or moreProficiency in Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwif, or Sage Estimating Or HCSSExperience working with and interpreting architectural and engineering drawing accuratelyCity of Los Angeles and LAWA experience desiredExcellent Benefits(Sr. Estimator, Heavy Construction, Civil Engineer, Construction Management, Highway, Bridges, Utilities, Cost Estimating)
