Project Manager - Wet UtilitiesðŸ“Location: Southern California (Primarily Field-Based)💼Department: Select Division / Operations💰Salary Range: $130,000 - $175,000/year (DOE)Lead the Work That Builds the Future. W.A. Rasic Construction is seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in wet utility infrastructure to lead the execution of complex projects across Southern California. This is a boots-on-the-ground role that requires technical fluency, planning mastery, and sharp leadership instincts.If you have a background in water, sewer, and storm drain construction"”and a passion for delivering work that lasts"”you'll thrive here.What You'll DoLead field execution for wet utility pipeline projects, from preconstruction through close-out.Manage subcontractors, crews, logistics, equipment, materials, and daily production.Coordinate directly with inspectors, agencies, clients, and internal teams to ensure compliance, performance, and clear communication.Oversee scheduling (CPM), cost tracking, change orders, and quality control documentation.Resolve field issues and support safe, productive execution through effective site leadership.Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and specifications to ensure accurate project delivery.Collaborate with estimating teams on change events, buyouts, and risk mitigation strategies.Train, mentor, and develop assistant PMs and project engineers.What You Bring5-10+ years of experience managing underground wet utility construction projects.Strong technical knowledge of water, sewer, storm drain systems, live tie-ins, trench safety, and shoring methods.Experience with pump stations, mechanical piping, and treatment plant infrastructure preferred.Proficiency in project management platforms & industry software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera, etc.)Ability to read plans and specs; proactively identify risk and drive solutions.Solid leadership and field coordination skills"”you manage the chaos without letting it manage you.Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred.Why W.A.
