Senior Project Manager

Birdi Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex infrastructure, systems, and low-voltage Design/Build projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all facets of project management"”budgeting, scheduling, team leadership, compliance, and client relations"”particularly within commercial, aviation, and transportation environments. This role requires strong leadership, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines, from internal teams to third-party vendors. Experience in the design, coordination, and implementation of physical security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV), and low-voltage communications or a related field is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage complex projects through all phases"”initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout Coordinate internal resources, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables involving all relevant stakeholders Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans Track project performance using appropriate tools and report regularly to senior leadership Anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks, issues, and scope changes Maintain comprehensive documentation including reports, change orders, and client communication Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and regulatory requirements including local/state/federal building codes Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve field issues Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle Manage Client Expectations and Contract ScopeFacilitate meetings, project reviews, and updates across teams Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree) Minimum of 8+ years proven experience in project management; 3+ years in a technical/engineering role preferred Demonstrated experience managing commercial projects and/or transportation/airport infrastructure Strong knowledge of construction procedures, project management principles, low-voltage systems, and physical security systems PMP Certification is a plus Familiarity with MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software In-depth knowledge of cost estimation, procurement, and inventory controls Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Experience managing electrical/low voltage installations is highly desirable Additional Requirements: Ability to pass TSA background check and/or other airport security clearances We are a forward-thinking systems integrator focused on delivering innovative solutions in critical infrastructure, transportation, and security.
