Construction Superintendent - Renovations

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage commercial renovation projects in the Fort Myers / Cape Coral area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ideally school construction, with a focus on interior and exterior renovations, tenant improvements, and adaptive reuse projects. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day on-site operations for commercial renovation projects.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and building codes.Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or issues.Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, architects, and inspectors.Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation.Enforce safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized job site.Assist in project planning, material procurement, and scheduling.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction/renovation. Proven track record managing multiple renovation projects from start to finish.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Preferred Experience:Superintendent experience with renovation projects in Schools.
