** Business Development / Pricing Analyst** Direct Hire***** Chesterfield, MO***** Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pmAbout the RoleWe are seeking a data-driven and collaborative Analyst to join a high-performing team. This role is central to shaping sales strategy by delivering actionable insights on pricing, product segmentation, and market dynamics. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and R&D to drive revenue growth and competitive positioning.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Financial AnalysisAnalyze market trends, customer behavior, and economic indicators to inform pricing and product strategies.Deliver variance analysis against forecast, plan, and prior year performance.Evaluate product segments to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats.Develop KPIs to measure pricing effectiveness and segment performance.Pricing Strategy & ModelingBuild and maintain pricing models to optimize profitability and competitiveness.Conduct sensitivity analyses and monitor competitor pricing.Partner with Finance to evaluate new projects and product initiatives.Cross-functional CollaborationPresent insights and recommendations to Sales and executive leadership.Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing to align strategies with market demand.Foster strong relationships across departments to ensure strategic alignment.Data Management & ReportingMaintain accurate records of research, pricing analyses, and performance metrics.Utilize CRM and BI tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau) to track and report on trends.Prepare and deliver reports that translate complex data into clear business insights.QualificationsMaster's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.3+ years of experience in pricing analysis, business development, and financial modeling.Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and CRM platforms.Strong communication and storytelling skills with a data-first mindset.High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.What's OfferedCompetitive salaryMedical, Dental, Vision insuranceShort-term/Long-term Disability & Life Insurance401(k) with Company MatchA collaborative and innovative culture
