Project SchedulerLocation: Chantilly, VAWork Type: OnsiteRemote Work: NoJob DescriptionOur Earned Value Management (EVM) Office is seeking an experienced, disciplined, and driven Project Scheduler to drive EVM program planning and scheduling operations to develop, update, maintain, and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). As a Project Scheduler, you will collaborate directly with the Program Cost Analyst and work closely with a variety of project management personnel to ensure schedule alignment with project milestones and objectives, perform schedule analysis to identify and mitigate risks, instill appropriate change management and control, and prepare EVM metrics and status reports. You will also conduct regular schedule reviews, validate schedule data integration, contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with industry standards for project scheduling. Your efforts will span from supporting program startup and planning activities to facilitating the monthly Business Rhythm throughout the execution lifecycle.Growth opportunities to facilitate on-program EVM training and coaching and acquiring role-related certifications such as the PMP and EVP exist to enhance career development.QualificationsExperience with industry-standard scheduling tools such as Microsoft ProjectExperience with Critical Path AnalysisExperience with Microsoft Excel formulas and pivot tablesAbility to perform detailed schedule analysis and variance reportingActive TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph examBachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in program planning or project scheduling, or 4+ years of experience in program planning or project scheduling in lieu of a degreeAdditional QualificationsExperience with large-scale projects in industries such as defense, aerospace, or ITExperience on a program with EIA-748 Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements and IMS and CPR, IPMR, or IPMDAR DeliverablesExperience with DCMA 14-Point and DCMA EV Compliance Metrics (DECM)Experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)Experience running and reporting on Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs)Experience with Agile methodology and Atlassian tools, including Jira and ConfluenceKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS)Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, to present complex data to non-technical stakeholdersPossession of excellent detail-oriented and analytical skills, including a commitment to delivering high-quality resultsProject Management Professional (PMP), Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or EVM CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $80,000 - $170,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs.
