Wright Brothers, The Building Company, is seeking a qualified commercial construction Superintendent.About the RoleResponsibilities for this essential role include leading the coordination of construction projects through project planning, coordinating resources and staffing, adhering to timelines, contributing to a positive company culture, and assisting in negotiations. The qualified candidate will foster strong working relationships with team members, subcontractors and suppliers and play a pivotal role in shaping our future projects.ResponsibilitiesExecute of the prime contract requirements and enforce of subcontract requirementsCoordinate and maintain a safe project siteDevelop documentation of existing field conditions of the siteAdhere to project budgetGenerate project schedule and daily field reports and appropriate recordsEnsure responsible management of job-related construction materials and on-site resourcesCoordinate subcontractors and resources effectivelyPrepare for and conduct productive meetings (safety, subcontractors, owner and architect, etc.)Establish and maintain project schedule and documentationAttend and present project status updates at regular internal Superintendent meetingsMaintain, compile, and distribute accurate project documentationSchedule inspections by authorities pertaining to the completed sections of workVerify subcontractor installations and correctionsCoordinate architect/owner walk-throughs of project and site observationsCoordinate all utilities necessary for the timely completion of the projectMaintain "As Built" drawingsPrepare O & M manuals, training videos and any other close out documentsRepresent Wright Brothers as a brand ambassador in every interactionQualificationsMinimum five years of previous construction experienceRequired SkillsKnowledge of construction materials and methodsThorough knowledge of personal computers and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and project management softwareDemonstration of professional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and understand construction blueprints and specificationsBasic knowledge of accounting and cost control principlesAbility to establish and manage priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervisionAbility to collaborate well with project teamsEffective knowledge of risk mitigationKnowledge of all delivery methods of construction management, like General Construction, Design-Build, Construction ManagementProven experience in the construction fieldStrong knowledge of construction management principles and practicesFamiliarity with construction industry standards, codes, and regulationsAbility to coordinate multiple prioritiesStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and other technical documentsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailsPreferred SkillsNote: Experience with specific construction methods or materials may be required depending on the nature of the projects.Pay range and compensation packageWe offer competitive pay rates and benefits package.
