About the Opportunity: A well-established general contractor with a strong presence across the Southeast is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing team in Raleigh. This is a critical role that bridges the gap between client development, estimating, and project execution, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering well-planned, high-quality projects from the ground up.Key Responsibilities:Manage and lead the preconstruction process from initial pursuit through project turnover to operationsCollaborate with owners, architects, and internal teams to ensure clear scope, accurate budgets, and early-stage constructability insightSupport estimating teams with bid strategy, scope reviews, value engineering, and subcontractor outreachDevelop and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking during the preconstruction phaseLead and facilitate internal and external meetings, including design coordination, pricing reviews, and milestone updatesSupport business development and project pursuit efforts by contributing to RFQs/RFPs and client presentationsCoordinate internal handoff of preconstruction documentation and knowledge to project delivery teamsQualifications:5+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management within the commercial or industrial construction sectorsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferredStrong knowledge of construction processes, means & methods, and budgetingProven ability to collaborate across departments and with external partnersExcellent communication and organizational skillsProficiency in preconstruction and estimating software tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Sage, or similar)What's Offered:Competitive salary and performance-based bonusComprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to work on diverse, high-impact projects across the regionA supportive, values-driven culture with a commitment to professional growthIf interested, please email your resume to m.gargano@
