We believe that a construction manager is the best our company has to offer, and we expect the best from this position.Job Responsibilities:Assisting the project managers to control time, cost, and quality of a construction project through careful schedule management, coordination of subcontractor work, and quality oversightAssist in ensuring approved submittals are returned to subcontractors and available to the project team per the project schedule and the contract.Assist the project manager and field staff with RFI completion.Assist with drafting and maintaining project schedules.Build effective working relationships with architects, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to complete projects on time and ensure BCCM is recognized as a professional in our industry.Assist in ensuring clients receive frequent communications regarding the status of the project and are made aware of viable options to solve problems.Proactively assist in identifying project areas that are failing to meet expectations and determine methods to resolve issues to get projects back in line with financial, operational, and scheduling requirements.Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in a commercial construction environmentExperience in Procore or Sage preferredBachelor's degree in construction management, project management preferred, or an equivalent combination of closely related education and construction experience.Maintains professionalism when facing challenges and overcoming difficultiesAbility to adapt quicklyAssistant Project Managers must maintain BCCM's core values at all times, including:• Be a first in class communicator.
