Job Description

The client is seeking a Vice President of Inclusive Excellence and Belonging (VPIEB) to provide strategic leadership in promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging within the College community. Reporting to President Dr. Jermaine F. Williams, the VPIEB will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that foster cultural understanding, civil and human rights, and social justice in alignment with the Colleges Transformational Aspirations and Strategic Plan. The VPIEB will oversee a portfolio of initiatives outlined in the Colleges Cultural Diversity Plan and work to ensure that inclusion and belonging are integrated into all aspects of the institution.The Vice President of Inclusive Excellence and Belonging will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership and work to create a more inclusive environment for students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community. Responsibilities include assessing systemic approaches to equity and inclusion, developing strategies to promote belonging, and implementing initiatives that support diversity and social justice. The VPIEB will play a crucial role in advancing the Colleges commitment to access, equity, and social justice by creating infrastructure and programs that prioritize inclusion and belonging across all areas of the institution.The ideal candidate for this role will be innovative, dynamic, and well-qualified to lead efforts in promoting diversity and inclusion at The client. The VPIEB will work closely with senior leadership to ensure that equity and belonging are central to the Colleges mission and values, and will be responsible for assessing and implementing programs that support cultural competency and social justice. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the College community by creating a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all stakeholders.
