We serve clients in the fastest growing industry of communications, media, and entertainment.Job Description:We are currently seeking a Backend Engineer with strong Node.js experience to join our growing team developing global video streamining platforms that handle billions of requests and millions of users. In this role, you will play an integral part in designing, developing, and scaling backend systems that power mission-critical applications. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for our full list of benefits linked here.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Node.jsWrite clean, testable, and maintainable codeWork with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver backend featuresDevelop and maintain cloud-native applications deployed on AWSDesign and implement scalable microservices and data modelsUse Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and operationsCollaborate on system architecture and documentationEnsure security best practices for backend services and dataQualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant work experience.3+ years of backend development experience with Node.jsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailProactive, self-motivated, and eager to understand full system architecturesWorking knowledge of Python and JavaHands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and KubernetesExperience designing RESTful APIs or microservicesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (preferably Concourse CI)Familiarity with relational, document and graph database conceptsUnderstanding of cloud infrastructure and containerized deploymentsFamiliar with message queueing systems like RabbitMQPreferred Skills:Experience in zero-downtime deployments, feature flagging, and experimentationBackground in microservice design patterns and distributed systemsExposure to stream processing architectures or event-driven systemsAdditional information:pureIntegration is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE), qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
