Nature of WorkThe Ryan White Part B AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Assistant Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and direct oversight of the statewide ADAP.This position coordinates and leads daily program operations, including grant management activities, to ensure successful implementation, fiscal oversight, and compliance with both federal and state guidelines. Serves as a subject matter expert on ADAP and related services, and performs responsibilities associated with the program's administration.The position collaborates with other programs and agencies, such as the Bureau for Medical Services and HIV Surveillance Linkage to Care, and serves as the primary point of contact for subrecipients participating in the program. Candidates should have familiarity with pharmaceutical terminology related to HIV treatment and a clinical understanding of the disease.Minimum Qualifications***** Bachelors Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.** Additional experience as described below may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis.** Four years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment.***** Post-graduate education in a field related to the technical or program area may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours for one year of experience.Other InformationThree (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Health and Human Resources series may substitute for the required training and experience.
