Prior safety experience is required.Immediate hiring needs are located in the cities listed below. Additional projects and resourcing needs will continue to grow across other locations throughout the US.Canton, MSServe as an owners representative for safetyDuties as required by 1926 OSHA Standards for ConstructionEnsure compliance for the safety of site workers and general publicDevelop safety kick-off presentations and conduct on-site orientations and pre-shift meetingsConduct daily site safety inspections, safety assessments and safety auditsInvestigate incidents and complete associated paperworkConduct risk assessmentsMake recommendations concerning the modification, improvement, or removal of any company equipment, facilities, or machinery that is hazardous to employee safety or healthCompile daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested by management or customerServe as company liaison with overseeing municipalities, OSHA, Insurance carriers and other regulatory agenciesMaintain all safety related documentationEducation/Fluent in English, written and verbalOSHA 30 Hr. for Construction3-7 years minimum Safety ExperienceBCSP Board CertifiedCollegiate Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or equivalentAbility to teach and train others on safety programs (required)Ability to identify known potential exposures and recommending corrective actionAbility to read and understand drawings and specificationsProficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelTechnological competencyWhat we **BSI offers a competitive salary, group-sponsored health and dental, short-term and long-term disability, a company-matched 401k plan, company paid life insurance, 11 paid holidays and 4 weeks paid time off.The salary for this position can range from $90,000 - $105,000 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidates competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.Our Excellence **** Client-centric, Agile, Collaborative.
