Come join our table!POSITION SUMMARYPlans and executes new and existing foodservice projects which meet or exceed financial objectives; collaborates cross functionally and influences decisions with R&D, operations, supply chain, logistics, marketing, legal and sales through each step of new product launches and commercialization. Participates in Foodservice Strategy planning.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSLead the RFP process to ensure project success from innovation to commercialization.Analyze project process including but not limited to viability and profitability; areas of improvements; recommend mitigation remedies if project objectives are in danger.Initiate, lead and execute cross-functional project work with stakeholders; review project process including but not limited to, financial health and margins, specifications of project, material requirements; and plant requirements; communicate launch date and materials to stakeholders; validate everything is in place and ready to go forward when the PO is entered.Complete monthly forecasting; lead scheduling team for productionEnsure price lists are created and kept currentNegotiate pricing of excess inventory and movement with external stakeholders; collaborate with broker network; and communicate price changes.Ensure R&D projects are completed in collaboration with plant production test; determine which projects move from test production to full production based on financial objectives.Ensure customer payments are received in collaboration with accounts receivable; becomes directly involved with a customers who fall behind our credit payment termsServe as the liaison between the Foodservice team and the SAP team; ensure SAP takes into consideration the uniqueness of the Foodservice operating model and develop tools which will support business growth.Collaborate with Innovation and Trade Marketing ;ensure new projects align with sales requirementsOther duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in finance, marketing or related or equivalent work experienceTwo (2) years' of related customer, sales and cross-functional department relationship building and teamworkPreferred QualificationsExperience in Foodservice, consumer product development or food products developmentExperience in Stage Gate Methodology for product developmentProject Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or similarPrevious leadership experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITITES (KSA's)Proven organization skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to build professional relationships with cross functional teams while facilitating a collaborative environment.Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate information verbally and in writingStrong troubleshooting and problem resolution skillsProficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, Word and ExcelENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONSAble to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days at a timePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSUsual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing. Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery.
