Component Shop Manager

C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, located in Bangor, Maine, is currently seeking a manager to oversee its growing aviation component repair business. In this position, the Component Shop Manager will be responsible to lead the Component Shop team to meet strategic goals, performance objectives, and budgeted sales and profit targets.Job DescriptionProvides leadership that promotes the company's core values along with cultivating employee growth for advancementEnsure compliance with Repair Station Manual, AS9100, AS9110 and other applicable standardsProvide overall quality control and monitoring of all mechanics for consistencyMonitoring daily operations to maximize efficiencies to meet delivery guarantees while maintaining employees well beingCultivate customer relations through reporting and various communication means to ensure customer satisfactionDevelop and administer annual budget activities ensuring company objectives and goals are achieved for the Component ShopMonitor and coordinate staffing needs with the Recruiting DepartmentJob RequirementsFAA Airframe & Powerplant License a plusMinimum of 5 supervisory / management experienceMinimum of 10 years aircraft maintenance or component repairProficient in Microsoft OfficeMust be detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving skillsProficient typing and cognitive skillsLife at C&L Aviation GroupAt C&L, aviation is personal.
