Company DescriptionAmerican Bedding Manufacturers (ABM) is a manufacturer specializing in mattresses, bed frames, bunk beds, furniture, and linens for camps, colleges, rescue shelters, and military bases. The company is an industry leader known for quality products and innovative designs such as the Bed Bug Proof mattress. Located in Athens, TN, ABM also offers custom mattresses and GSA-certified bedding and furniture.OverviewABM is looking to add an experienced and motivated member to their Inside Sales team who can not only perform the duties of an Inside Sale Rep but can also act as the team's supervisor when required by the team Director. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales with demonstrated leadership skills. You will be responsible for driving sales performance and ensuring our sales strategies align with market demands. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with clients.Role DescriptionEffectively sell and promote American Bedding products and services to new and existing customers, remotely through phone calls, emails and online communication.The ability to listen to customer inquiries and understand their specific needs and requirements and to effectively convert a lead to a quote to an order.The ability to sell the company's Value Proposition by explaining product features and benefits and how the company services the customer.The ability to learn the company's products, pricing and promotions to assemble customer quotes that meet the customer's expectations.The ability to easily navigate emails, CRMs and Websites for leads and the appropriate follow-up to generate interest in our products and services and create an opportunity. Included would be the ability to maintain and input new customer data into the CRM.The ability to make outbound calls and take the customer from a lead to a quote to an order.The ability to lead a small Inside Sales team in achieving daily goals and provide process guidance and training to improve customer conversion success.QualificationsExcellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills.3 - 5 years of Inside Sales experience, including supervision, with notable successes.Good negotiating skills.Possesses an excellent working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).Excellent individual contributor as well as an excellent team player.Understands the theory of Continuous Improvement and can contribute to positive process changes.Excellent attendance and work habits.
