In 2024, it was also named one of the region's Top Workplaces, reflecting its commitment to excellence, innovation, and employee satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesDepartment LeadershipManage the estimating departments delivery of hard bids, CM estimates, and design-build proposalsCoordinate department workload and maintain a weekly bid calendarHire, evaluate, and train estimating staff; support career development and growthOversee estimating database and historical cost recordsLead the project buyout process following successful bidsEstimate OversightReview all detailed estimates, general conditions, and project schedulesEnsure completeness of scope and address any bid-day issues or gapsIdentify project risks and adjust pricing strategies accordinglyBid ManagementEvaluate subcontractor and supplier invite listsProvide final input and leadership during bid-day decisionsProject Familiarity & Quality ControlReview all project documents and Division 1 requirementsEnsure quality standards are reflected in both self-performed and subcontracted workPost-Bid EvaluationAnalyze performance of awarded projects to identify successes and areas for improvementSubcontractor & Supplier RelationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendorsMaintain awareness of partner strengths, weaknesses, and market conditionsAdditional ResponsibilitiesRepresent the company in client-facing presentations and marketing eventsCollaborate with other departments including project management, field operations, and accountingSupport business development through identification of new project opportunitiesBenefits401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid life and long-term disability insurancePaid holidays and earned time offThis employer participates in E-Verify and is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and second chance employment.
