Electrical Project Manager

Summary of Primary Functions: As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful estimation and management of electrical projects for our clients industrial installations, automated warehouses, and production lines. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site technicians to ensure the smooth installation, integration, and functionality of electrical systems. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCould you help in preparing the estimation, proposal, installation, and implementation of electrical systems for industrial installations, automated warehouses, and production lines? Please collaborate with project managers and technicians to make sure they comply with project requirements and specifications. Oversees, scheduling and coordination of internal and external resources for project completion Assist in cost tracking and financial control of projects. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and quality control processes. Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices (NEC) related to electrical systems. Assist in ensuring projects adhere to all relevant safety guidelines and regulations during the implementation of electrical systems. Assist in reporting on contract performance regularly and to Company standard requirements, ensuring all potential opportunities, variations, and risks are identified and reported to the Operations Manager as soon as possible. Job Specifications or QualificationsEducation and Experience: A bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred, but not needed. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the industrial service industry is needed. Certifications: OSHA 30 and NFPA70E are both preferred but not needed. Additional Experience:Prior experience in both industrial and commercial electrical projects. Broad understanding of electrical systems infrastructure, protection & distribution requirements, commercial and industrial construction industry practices, construction contracts, and budget/schedule management, etc. Electrical Management: 5 years. Electrical Systems: 3 years. Key Competencies:Electrical estimating with software such as McCormick or Accubid. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, such as Excel, Word, and Teams. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience with high-voltage systems, transformers, and switchgear Proficiency in electrical estimating, procurement, and material selection. Ability to lead and coordinate electricians, subcontractors, and engineers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills on a professional level.
