Job Title: Development DirectorReporting To: Larkin OLeary, Executive DirectorLocation: Remote/In Santa Rosa office as neededJob Summary:The Development Director will be responsible for supporting Common Ground Society (CGS) leadership team in implementing fundraising strategies and initiatives. These will include, but are not limited to, digital campaigns, individual giving, and special events, all of which are integral to supporting the mission and programs. The Director will report to and work closely with the Executive Director to achieve established goals.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development and execution of the year-round fundraising plan to meet revenue goals for the organizationWork in partnership with leadership to project manage the Annual Gala Develop and implement year-round stewardship and cultivation plans for Be the One Gala guests, sponsors and donorsProvide administrative support to maintain relationships with foundation and corporate funders and donorsManage the organization's donor database and ensure accurate and timely recording of all donor interactionsManage the organization's fundraising budget and ensure that all fundraising activities are conducted efficiently and effectively - report quarterly analysis to leadership quarterlyMust be able to work evenings and weekends as neededPerform other duties as assignedQualifications and Skills:Passion for Common Ground Society's mission and commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusionBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage and inspire donorsStrong attention to detail, planning, organizational and follow-up skillsDemonstrated ability to deliver high level customer service to all donors, vendors, volunteers and ambassadors of the CGS missionAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExperience with donor databases and fundraising softwareProven ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities at one timeMust be willing and able to travel within our geographic service area with your own reliable transportationBackground check required prior to employmentCompensation Range: Determined based on experience$60-80k (base salary range) Approximately 40 hours per weekTo apply: please send resume and cover letter to hello@Common Ground Society is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, ethnic background, religion, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, national origin, or disabilities.
