Job ** Finance Business Analyst - Business Process & Controls (SAP) [New York City, NY / Boston, MA / Springfield, MA - Onsite, 5 days] W2 Contract | 12+ MonthsJob **We are seeking a skilled Finance Business Analyst to support finance transformation and SAP initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of finance operations, business processes, internal controls, and SAP systems. You'll collaborate closely with finance, compliance, and technical teams to drive process improvements and ensure SOX and audit readiness.Key *Analyze and document current finance and accounting business processesIdentify gaps and recommend improvements in internal controls and complianceCollaborate with finance teams to optimize processes across FP&A, reporting, and auditWork with technical teams to align process changes with SAP S/4HANA or ECC systemsSupport SOX documentation, audit requests, and control testing activitiesCreate process maps, workflows, and SOPs using Visio or similar toolsAssist in UAT planning, test case creation, and validation of financial processesRequired *6-10 years of experience as a Finance or Business Process AnalystStrong understanding of financial controls, SOX compliance, and audit readinessExperience working in SAP environments (S/4HANA or ECC)Familiarity with finance functions like GL, AP, AR, FP&A, and financial reportingExcellent documentation and communication skillsProficient with tools like Excel, Visio, Jira, or ServiceNowPreferred ****Prior experience in large-scale SAP transformation or implementation projectsExperience with internal audit or control remediation initiatives
