Our philanthropy team play a key role in this mission by securing vital resources through donor engagement, strategic partnerships, and community support, helping to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality behavioral healthcare.What to expect.The Director of Advancement Services is a key leadership role responsible for data integrity, donor information management, reporting and analytics, prospect research and moves management, gift processing, and overall support services that enable strategic fundraising and alumni engagement efforts. The Director plays a critical role in supporting decision-making through data-driven insights, managing systems and processes to maximize efficiency and compliance, and leading a team focused on continuous improvement to ensure the organization meets its fundraising goals.Specific responsibilities include:Data Management & ReportingOversee the maintenance, accuracy, and security of the donor database.Develop and maintain systems for tracking and reporting philanthropic activity.Ensure accurate and timely gift entry, acknowledgment, and receipting processes.Prospect Research & ManagementLead prospect research efforts to identify, evaluate, and track potential major donors.Work with gift officers to support moves management, portfolio development, and donor strategy.Operational LeadershipManage the Advancement Services team, including database administrator/gift processor and prospect researcher.Set, document, and maintain policies and procedures for moves management, data management, gift acceptance, and compliance.Compliance & IntegrityEnsure adherence to ethical standards, donor intent, IRS regulations, HIPAA, and industry best practices.Manage data privacy and confidentiality protocols.Technology & InnovationEvaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance advancement operations.Serve as a key stakeholder in CRM and other system implementations or upgrades.What youll get from us.At Sheppard Pratt, you will work alongside a multi-disciplined team led by a bold vision to change lives.
